ON WITH SUMMER! 

When I was a kid, we had this neighbor who shall remain unnamed who, the day after the Fourth of July would exhale deeply and opine, “Well,  summer is almost over!”. I was terrified. How could summer be half over? Then the reality began to set in and I started doing a dumb thing as a kid, I started counting the days until Labor Day. Summer is not half over, it is still here. Enjoy the hot weather, the steamy days of summer, the cold drinks, the food you regret eating as soon as you down one too many potato pancakes or ice pops. Enjoy the rest of this great time of year. Summer is just warming up. Throw away your calendar and if you can, hide your watch. Enjoy it while it lasts! Happy post 4th of July rest of summer!
